The agreement between you and Gulf Edition: what we do, what we do not do, how listings are paid for, and where each side's responsibility begins.
These terms govern your use of www.gulfedition.com, a luxury marketplace for real estate, cars, yachts, private jets and watches, operated by CARSCLUB FZ, licensed in the United Arab Emirates.
By browsing the site, sending an enquiry or publishing a listing, you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
We are a marketplace, not a party to your transaction. We introduce buyers to sellers and give sellers a place to present what they are selling. We do not own the assets listed, we do not act as broker or agent for either side, and we do not hold or transfer the money involved in a sale.
We do not take a commission on a sale. What a seller pays us for a package, plan or promotion is the whole of what they pay us.
Every negotiation, inspection, contract, payment, registration and transfer is between buyer and seller. Satisfy yourself about an asset, its title and the person selling it before parting with money. On high-value assets, take independent legal, financial and technical advice. We review listings before they appear, but a review is not a valuation, an inspection or a guarantee.
You must be at least 18 to hold an account, and the details you give must be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
There are two kinds of account. A private seller is an individual selling their own assets. A business account is a dealer, brokerage, agency or brand trading professionally, shown as Dealer across most categories and Agency in real estate. Choose the right one: private packages are priced for individuals and business plans for continuous inventory, and we may move an account to the correct type if it is plainly trading as a business.
When you publish a listing you confirm that:
Do not list something you do not have, repeat the same asset across several listings, advertise a price you will not honour, or use a listing to advertise a different business. Contact details in photographs, competitor links and misleading titles are not permitted.
You keep ownership of your photographs and copy. By publishing them, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and promote them in connection with the marketplace, including in search results, category pages, newsletters and our social channels. That licence ends when the listing is removed, except for copies already distributed, such as a newsletter that has been sent.
We may decline, edit or remove a listing that breaks these rules, and may suspend or close an account that does so repeatedly. Where a listing is removed for a reason that is not your fault, we will credit it back.
Publishing is paid for in one of two ways, depending on the account.
A listing runs for the period its package paid for and then stops appearing. It is not deleted, and you can put it back up by paying for another run.
Plans renew automatically until you stop them. Cancelling stops the renewal and nothing else: the term you have already paid for runs to its end date with your slots and listings untouched. Moving up a tier applies immediately; moving down applies at renewal, so you never lose a slot you have already filled.
All prices are in US dollars and are exclusive of any tax that may apply to you. Where a dirham figure is shown alongside, it is a conversion at the fixed UAE peg, given for convenience. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
Because a package delivers immediately, fees are non-refundable once a credit has been spent or a plan term has begun. We will refund where we have charged in error, where a service we sold cannot be delivered, or where the law requires it. A cancelled plan is not refunded for the remainder of its term, because that term continues to run.
Promotion add-ons are bought for a specific listing. Where an add-on is produced by our team, such as an article or a social feature, it is scheduled with you after purchase and delivered within a reasonable period.
Premium listings, promoted listings and paid placements rank above standard stock in the places we say they will. Everything else is ordered by relevance and recency. We do not guarantee a particular position, a number of views, a number of enquiries or a sale, and we may change how results are ordered as the marketplace develops.
We may feature any listing in our newsletters, on our social channels or on category pages at no cost to you, and we may decline to feature one.
You agree not to:
The site itself, its design, code, wordmark and editorial content belong to us. Individual listing photographs and copy belong to the sellers who posted them.
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing is accurate, complete or genuine. Listings are written by sellers, not by us.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or opportunity, or for any dispute between a buyer and a seller. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute.
We may update these terms as the marketplace changes, and the date at the top always shows the current version. Where a change materially affects you, we will give notice by email or on the site. Continuing to use Gulf Edition after a change means you accept it.
Email contact@gulfedition.com and we will explain a clause in plain language before you rely on it.
